- For sending SMS over a HTTP interface, use: http://www.sms77.de/. It offers sending SMS via HTTP interface and e-mail also! They offer WAP push SMS messages to be sent from the HTTP API, with guaranteed delivery, for 9 ct each. Paying per credit transfer and phone is possible. See http://www.sms77.de/api.pdf for the HTTP API specs.
- http://www.mmsclick.de/. Sending MMS per web interface. Payed per credit transfer. No SOAP interface.
- http://www.smsweb24.de/ . Sending MMS per web interface. No HTTP / SOAP interface. Spontaneous paying per SMS or hotline possible.
- http://www.massenversand.de/. MMS gateway with HTTP interface. Spontaneous participation possible, but you need to send at least 1000 SMS (~250 MMS) / 6 months. So it is a good solution for the real application, but not the prototype. MMS are delivered as MMS, not over WAP push. It allows to send free-form MMS via HTTP interface, see http://www.massenversand.de/mv2004/downloads/Interface_MMS.pdf . Offers premium SMS and MMS.
- Whatevermobile MMS sending. http://www.whatevermobile.com/content/view/21/44/ . Offers SMTP and MM7 interfaces to send MMS! But, as this is the only or one of few provider which do so and it does not offer spontaneous participation, it should not be the basis for the prototype. Offers MMS delivery over WAP push and normal MMS. Offers premium MMS.
- http://www.smskaufen.com/kunden1/wasist.htm . For end customers: sending MMS and WAP Push SMS is possible via a web interface (i.e. via a HTTP interface!).
- http://www.sms4.de/. Offers commercial possibilities to send SMS. No convenient payment possibilties (minumum 50 EUR for credit transfers).
- http://www06.sms.de/. Nice features, nice payment possibilities.
- Synapsy MMS. High-quality service, includes SOAP interface etc.. http://www.synapsy.de/seiten/mms-versand.html . But: not possible to be used spontaneously.
- http://www.sms-kostenlos.de . Offers sending SMS and MMS via a web interface. 1 million registered users, daily free contingents of SMS and MMS which are shared between users. No SOAP interface etc..
